Common training of german and polish firemen

On 9th November 2008, firemen of the Berlin fire brigade and the members of high-altitude firefighting and rescue team no. 3 from Szczecin performed training on the ‘EWA’ silo. 
 

The aim of the training was to perfect mountaineering techniques used in rescuing injured people on high altitudes. 18 firemen and rescuers from Berlin and Szczecin participated in the training that has continued since 2003. Earlier, the firemen climbed, among others, the television building in Szczecin and the highest chimney in the Chemical Plant of Police.
