The largest cruiser

On 21st July at 20:00hrs, at the Waly Chrobrego Embankment, three cruisers moored next to each other. These were m/s Sans Souci, m/s Johannes Brahms and m/s Victor Hugo. The three vessels occupied 300 m of the quay. Over 300 hundred people came on board of the ships.

The largest seagoing cruiser to visit Szczecin in the 2008 season is m/s Seven Seas Voyager, a luxurious ship of the Bahama flag belonging American owner Regent Seven Seas Cruises. It is the first such large cruiser to call at our port. The ship will bring about 1100 people, including 660 passengers and a crew of 440. The cruiser has 207m in length, 28.8m in width and 7.1m in draught. Because of large dimensions the ship will not moor at Wały Chrobrego, instead it will stay at Polskie Quay on Wednesday 23rd July at 8:00-19:00. Ticket prices start with US$7,995.

In 2008 season two more large seagoing cruisers are expected to call at the city, one in August and one in September, as well as several river cruisers with passengers from Western Europe and America.
